COVID-19 Safety Protocols and Guidelines

Liberty Youth Baseball COVID-19 Safety Protocols and Guidelines

****UPDATED August 27, 2021***

New Mask Mandate for all outdoor spectators and players will go into effect on Friday August 27th.

Here are the rules from Reedville for all Fall Ball games.

  • All teams will need to wear masks while in or within 6 feet of the dugout.  This is regardless of age and/or vaccination status.
  • Players are not required to wear masks while competing.  Whether at bat, in the field or on the mound.
  • Spectators are required to wear masks if they are unable to keep 6 feet of distance from others.  The one exception is members of the same household do not require 6 feet of distance.  If spectators can keep 6 feet of distance from other households then masks are not required.

Liberty families, here is a list of our protocols and guidelines for the 2021 Fall season.  Please remember that this is for the safety of our children and our community.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and diligence.

  • Prior to any practice or game your child must clear ALL guidelines.   No symptoms in the last 48 hours (unless symptoms are from a vaccine)
  • fever
  • cough
  • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  •  fatigue
  • muscle or body aches
  • headaches
  • loss of taste or smell
  • sore throat
  • congestion or runny nose
  • nausea or vomiting
  • diarrhea.

*This health screening also applies to all members of the household.

The following parameters are set by state, county and local authorities. We do not have control over the requirements and must follow all guidelines without exception. We are a non-profit volunteer organization.

  • Masks are REQUIRED for outdoor sports regardless of vaccination status.
  • Socially distance 6 feet.  Seating is limited so please be mindful and respectful of the areas allowed for spectators.

We are playing in the Reedville Fall League so we must also follow all their guidelines and protocols during games. Thank you for your compliance.

Positive COVID-19 test and exposure guidelines

  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19 you must remain quarantined for an additional 14 days from the 1st symptom and at least 24 hours without fever and no fever reducing medication.
  • If you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 you must quarantine for 10 days from the exposure.

We are all in this together, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to president@libertybaseball.net or stefanielawhead@gmail.com
