  • Juniors (5th-6th) - $75
  • Seniors (7th-8th) - $75

**Each player is required to purchase a jersey, matching pants and belt through Gear Up.  EVERY player must purchase a jersey. If your player has Carolina Blue pants and belt from the spring season, they can be used for Fall Ball. If not, those items must also be purchased through Gear Up.  A link will be sent out to each player/family once teams have been established in early August.

COVID-19 Waiver – Prior to practicing, Liberty Youth Baseball will require BOTH parents of the player to sign a COVID-19 Waiver.  This waiver will be provided to you by LYB when we have clear guidance that practices can begin.

Anticipated Start Dates  **Subject to Change

7/15 -  Registration open. There are no scholarships available for Fall Ball. Full payment is required at the time of registration in order to participate in practices.

7/21  -  Practices at West Union and Liberty High School can begin. Coaches will notify each player the start date and time for their practices. **Practices will take place based your age and level of experience: (Minor, Jr. Sr.)

8/8 -  Teams will be formed. Coaches will notify players as to the team they are assigned to, it may not be with the group they have been practicing with.

Tentative Late August-Early September  -  Sunday games will begin. Location to be determined based on decision made by Liberty Baseball and availability at Reedville or Sherwood.

Under the current circumstances with Covid-19 these dates and times are subject to change. Liberty Baseball is committed to abiding by the state mandated safety protocols that are in place.

Refund Policy - There are no refunds for Fall Ball once teams are formed as long as games are played. Due to costs associated with field maintenance, portapotties, etc., we will offer an 80% refund of your registration costs if you decide not to participate prior to teams forming.  Once we have better guidance from the state, we will stay in communication as to a date of forming teams.  Your player will not be placed on a team if you have not paid registration in full.  As for the uniform orders, we will not be sending the link to order until we have a better idea as to if a fall baseball season will be played.

We are aware of the benefits of physical activity, team bonding and emotional well-being that occurs during practices.  We understand the decision has not yet been made regarding football and some players may decide to play if it is allowed.

New Catcher Equipment Rule

There are new Catcher Gear and batting helmet requirements for all JBO (3rd - 8th grade) players. All catchers must wear NOCSAE standard catcher's head and face protection with full ear and throat protection, body/chest protector that meets the NOCSAE standard (effective Jan 1, 2021), protector cup and baseball protective shin guards during warm-ups and during games in all leagues.  Catchers will follow all high school rules for equipment.

LYB Board has several openings we need to fill this fall. If you are interested in joining please let us know! We need volunteers to keep this program running.
